HVCA Become CLE's 5th Scheme Operator
In January 2006 the Heating and Ventilating Contractors Association joined SELECT, Scottish Building, Scottish Decorator's Federation and SNIPEF in becoming a CLE accredited Scheme Provider. This means that providing their member companies have been inspected and fully meet CLE criteria then they will be given a CLE license.
This not only shows that HVCA have a very robust inspection system but also that they, along with CLE,are pushing up industry standards and taking a stand against rogue traders and the black economy in Scotland. CLE welcome HVCA and look forward to a long and successful working partnership.
Yellow Pages support for CLE
Yellow Pages have shown their support for CLE and the concept of licensing by sponsoring the CLE consumer leaflet. This leaflet is also supported by the Scottish Executive as well as Scottish Enterprise and shows that support for licensing for Scottish construction is coming from a broad cross-section of industry.
